Terms & Conditions

Bin Clean Crew (BCC)

Last updated: 21 June 2026

1. About these Terms

These Terms & Conditions explain the rules that apply when a customer uses the BCC website, registers an account, joins the waiting list, books a wheelie bin cleaning service, uses the Customer App or contacts BCC.

By registering, booking, paying for a service or using our website or Customer App, the customer agrees to these Terms & Conditions.

If the customer does not agree to these Terms, they should not use our services.

2. About BCC

BCC provides wheelie bin cleaning services in selected local areas.

Business name: BCC

Email: info@bincleancrew.co.uk

Phone: 07889700662

Address: 28 Henry Close, Worksop, S80 1EZ

3. Service status and launch

BCC is preparing to launch its wheelie bin cleaning service.

Until the service officially starts, customers may be able to register interest, join a waiting list or make an enquiry.

Joining the waiting list does not guarantee that service will be available at the customer’s address or on a specific date.

BCC may contact customers when bookings open in their area.

4. Service area

BCC operates only in selected service areas.

Customers must provide an accurate postcode and address so we can check whether the property is within our service area.

We may refuse, cancel or delay a booking if:

  • the address is outside our service area;
  • the address cannot be located;
  • access to the bins is not practical or safe;
  • the route is not yet active;
  • the property is not suitable for the service.

5. Customer account

Customers may need to create an account or register their details to use our service.

The customer must provide accurate and up-to-date information, including name, address, postcode, phone number, email address and bin details.

The customer is responsible for keeping their details correct.

BCC may suspend or cancel an account if false, incomplete, misleading or duplicate information is provided.

6. Services provided

BCC provides wheelie bin cleaning services for standard household wheelie bins.

Our service may include:

  • high-pressure washing;
  • rinsing;
  • disinfection;
  • deodorising;
  • proof of service where needed;
  • service notes or photos where needed.

We currently clean standard household wheelie bins, usually 120L, 180L and 240L bins.

We may refuse to clean commercial bins, damaged bins, unsafe bins or non-standard bins unless agreed in advance.

7. Customer responsibility before cleaning

The customer must make sure that each bin is:

  • empty after council collection;
  • accessible to our team;
  • safe to handle;
  • presented in the agreed location;
  • not locked behind a gate unless access has been agreed;
  • not blocked by vehicles, building materials or other obstacles;
  • not contaminated with hazardous or unsuitable materials.

The customer must leave the bin available for cleaning after the council collection.

8. Empty bins only

We can only clean bins that have been emptied by the council or waste collection provider.

If a bin still contains waste, we cannot clean it.

If the bin has not been emptied because of an official council collection delay, BCC may adjust the cleaning date where reasonably possible.

If the bin has not been emptied because the customer failed to present it for collection, overfilled it, placed wrong waste inside it or caused the council not to collect it, the service may be treated as attempted and chargeable.

9. Unsafe or unsuitable bins

BCC may refuse to clean a bin if it contains or appears to contain:

  • paint;
  • oil;
  • fuel;
  • chemicals;
  • glue;
  • plaster;
  • concrete;
  • sharp objects;
  • medical waste;
  • animal waste in unsafe quantities;
  • dead animals;
  • hazardous waste;
  • hot ashes;
  • human waste;
  • contaminated liquids;
  • building waste;
  • any other material that may be unsafe or unsuitable.

If we cannot clean a bin for safety reasons caused by the customer, the service may be treated as attempted and chargeable.

10. Access issues

The customer must make sure we can access the bin safely.

If we cannot complete the service because:

  • the bin is not out;
  • the bin is behind a locked gate;
  • access is blocked;
  • the bin cannot be found;
  • the address or pin location is incorrect;
  • aggressive animals are present;
  • the property is unsafe;
  • the customer gave incorrect information,

the service may be treated as attempted and chargeable.

In these situations, no automatic refund, free replacement clean or credit will be due.

11. Service dates and schedules

BCC aims to clean bins after the customer’s council waste collection.

Service dates may depend on council collection schedules, route planning, customer location, weather, traffic, staff availability, equipment availability and operational issues.

Cleaning times are not guaranteed.

We may change, delay or reschedule a service where reasonably necessary.

12. Weather and operational delays

BCC may delay, suspend or reschedule services due to severe weather, freezing temperatures, road closures, vehicle breakdown, equipment failure, staff illness, health and safety risks, water supply issues or events outside our reasonable control.

Where possible, we will try to complete the service on another suitable date.

13. Plans and pricing

BCC may offer different service plans, including:

  • One Clean;
  • 4 Week Plan;
  • 6 Month Plan;
  • 12 Month Plan;
  • other plans or promotional offers.

Prices are shown on our website, booking page, Customer App or customer communication.

Prices may change from time to time.

Unless we clearly confirm a fixed-price offer in writing, future renewals will be charged at the price applicable at the time of renewal.

14. First clean and regular cleans

The first clean may be charged at a higher price because bins may require more work on the first visit.

Regular cleans after the first clean may be charged at a lower regular price according to the selected plan.

The exact price depends on the customer’s selected plan, number of bins, frequency and any applicable offer.

15. Minimum order

BCC may apply a minimum order value or minimum number of bins.

If a customer does not meet the minimum order requirement, we may refuse the booking or offer an alternative price.

16. Payments

BCC works on a pre-payment basis.

Payment must be received before the service is provided.

We may accept payment by card payment, bank transfer, Direct Debit, payment link or other approved payment method.

One Clean services are normally paid upfront as a one-off payment.

Regular plans may be paid upfront or by Direct Debit where available.

We may pause or cancel services if payment is not received on time.

17. Failed payments

If a payment fails, the customer must update or complete the payment as soon as possible.

BCC may pause the service, refuse further cleans, cancel the booking or plan, recover unpaid amounts and charge reasonable administration costs where lawful and appropriate.

18. Direct Debit

Where Direct Debit is available, the customer authorises payments according to the selected plan.

The customer must ensure that there are enough funds available.

If a Direct Debit fails or is cancelled, BCC may pause or cancel the service until payment is resolved.

19. Cancellation rights

Where a customer books online, by phone, by message or away from business premises, the customer may have a legal right to cancel within 14 days, unless an exception applies.

If the customer asks BCC to start the service during the 14-day cancellation period, the customer agrees that BCC may begin providing the service before the cancellation period ends.

If the service has already been fully performed at the customer’s request, the customer may lose the right to cancel that completed service.

If the customer cancels after work has started but before the service is fully completed, the customer may be required to pay a reasonable amount for the service already provided.

This does not affect the customer’s legal rights.

20. Cancelling before service

If the customer wants to cancel a booking or plan, they should contact BCC as soon as possible.

Cancellations may be accepted subject to the type of plan, timing of cancellation, whether route planning has already been completed, whether costs have already been incurred, whether the service has already started and the customer’s statutory rights.

Any refund or cancellation charge must be fair and lawful.

21. No refund where service failure is caused by the customer

If BCC attends or attempts to attend and the service cannot be completed because of something caused by the customer, the service may be treated as completed or attempted and no refund will normally be due.

This includes situations where:

  • the bin was not put out;
  • the bin was not emptied;
  • the bin was inaccessible;
  • the gate was locked;
  • the bin contained unsuitable waste;
  • the bin was unsafe to clean;
  • the customer gave the wrong address;
  • the customer gave the wrong postcode;
  • the customer gave incorrect collection information;
  • the customer failed to follow service instructions.

This does not remove any legal rights the customer may have where BCC is at fault.

22. Refunds

Refunds are considered based on the circumstances.

A refund may be offered where BCC cancels the service and cannot provide a reasonable alternative, the customer cancels within their legal cancellation rights, a payment was taken in error or we agree that a refund is fair and appropriate.

A refund may be refused or reduced where the service has already been provided, the service was attempted but could not be completed due to the customer, costs have already been reasonably incurred, the customer has breached these Terms or the refund request is outside the applicable cancellation period.

Refunds will normally be made to the original payment method.

23. Complaints and service issues

If the customer is unhappy with a service, they should contact BCC as soon as possible.

The customer should provide name, address, Customer ID if available, service date, details of the issue and photos where relevant.

BCC will review the complaint and may offer a re-clean, credit, refund or other solution where appropriate.

Complaints should normally be raised within 48 hours of the service, so we can investigate properly.

24. Photos and proof of service

BCC may take photos or notes to confirm the bin was cleaned, the bin was not presented, access was blocked, the bin was not emptied, the bin was unsafe or unsuitable, the service could not be completed, or damage or contamination existed before cleaning.

Photos are used for proof of service, customer support, complaints, disputes, staff training and quality control.

We will handle personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.

25. Customer App

Customers may be able to use the Customer App to view cleaning schedules, check service history, manage payments, change plans, request extra services, contact support and view account details.

The Customer App may not always be available and may be updated, changed or temporarily unavailable.

The customer must not misuse the Customer App or attempt to access another customer’s account.

26. Loyalty Programme

BCC may offer a Loyalty Programme for returning customers.

Eligibility, discount rules and renewal conditions are set out in the Loyalty Programme Terms.

The loyalty discount is not guaranteed unless confirmed by BCC.

27. Refer a Neighbour Programme

BCC may offer a Refer a Neighbour Programme.

Referral rewards, eligibility rules and conditions are set out in the Referral Programme Terms.

Referral rewards are not guaranteed unless BCC confirms that the referral conditions have been met.

28. Promotions and offers

BCC may offer promotions, discounts or free periods from time to time.

Offers may be limited by date, area, plan, customer type or availability.

Offers cannot normally be combined unless BCC confirms otherwise in writing.

We may withdraw or change offers at any time before they are accepted.

29. Damage

The customer should tell BCC about any existing damage to bins or property before the service.

BCC is not responsible for existing damage, wear and tear, old or brittle bins, weak lids, broken wheels, cracked plastic, faulty hinges or damage caused by council collection vehicles.

If the customer believes BCC caused damage, they must notify us as soon as possible and provide photos and details.

30. Liability

BCC will provide services with reasonable care and skill.

We are not responsible for losses caused by incorrect customer information, lack of access, unsafe bins, council collection delays, events outside our reasonable control, customer failure to follow instructions, pre-existing damage or indirect or consequential loss.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

31. Customer behaviour

Customers must treat BCC staff, drivers and contractors respectfully.

We may refuse, suspend or cancel service if a customer is abusive, threatening, discriminatory, aggressive or behaves in a way that creates a safety risk.

32. Website use

The customer must not misuse our website, forms, systems or Customer App.

The customer must not submit false information, attempt to access restricted areas, interfere with website security, copy or misuse our branding, upload harmful code or use the website for unlawful purposes.

33. Intellectual property

All website content, branding, text, images, graphics, logos, designs and business materials belong to BCC or are used with permission.

The customer must not copy, reproduce, sell or use our content or branding without written permission.

34. Privacy

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Customers should read the Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, store and protect personal data.

35. Changes to these Terms

BCC may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The updated version will be published on our website with a new “Last updated” date.

The Terms that apply to a customer’s booking are normally the Terms in force at the time of booking or renewal.

36. Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, it may be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
