Do you cover my address?
Enter your postcode in our postcode checker and we will confirm whether your address is within the Bin Clean Crew service area.
How does the service work?
Check your postcode, choose your plan, register online and leave your emptied bin out after council collection. We clean, disinfect and deodorise it.
What size bins do you currently clean?
We currently clean standard household wheelie bins in 120L, 180L and 240L sizes.
When do you clean the bins?
We clean bins on the waste collection day according to the Bassetlaw Council collection schedule, after the bin has been emptied.
Do I need to be at home?
No. As long as your bin has been emptied and is accessible, we can complete the service without you being present.
Can you clean a bin that has not been emptied?
No. The bin must be emptied by the council first. If Bassetlaw Council officially delays collection, we monitor this and adjust the cleaning date. If the bin is not emptied due to the customer not presenting it for collection, the service cannot be completed and is non-refundable.
What if I forget to put my bin out?
If the bin is not accessible or has not been put out, the service cannot be completed. When non-completion is due to the customer, the service is lost and is not refundable or transferable.
Are there any reasons why you cannot clean my bin?
Yes. We may refuse or delay cleaning if the bin contains hazardous waste, paint, oil, chemicals, glue, concrete, plaster, building waste, medical waste, dead animals or similar substances.
What does the cleaning service include?
Each clean includes high-pressure washing, disinfection, deodorising, rinsing and leaving the bin ready for normal use.
Why is regular cleaning worth it?
Regular cleaning helps reduce bad odours, bacteria, flies, maggots and dirt build-up throughout the year.
How do payments work?
Bin Clean Crew works on a pre-payment basis. Payment must be received before the scheduled service date. ONE CLEAN is paid upfront as a one-off payment. 4 WEEK PLAN, 6 MONTH PLAN and 12 MONTH PLAN can be paid as a one-off payment for the selected period or by Direct Debit (DD). Direct Debit does not apply to ONE CLEAN.
Why do you work on a pre-payment basis?
Pre-payment helps us plan routes, service dates and resources efficiently. It helps keep prices competitive and service reliable for all customers.
What happens if payment fails?
If a payment fails, we will notify you and give you the chance to update it. Unpaid services may be paused until payment has been received.
Can I change my plan?
Yes. You can request a plan change through your Customer App or by contacting us. Changes usually apply from the next billing period.
Can I cancel the service?
Yes. You can cancel the service. For subscription plans, a small administration fee may apply for early termination or cancellation of scheduled visits. Contact us or manage it through your Customer App.
Will I get payment confirmation?
Yes. Payment confirmations and transaction history are available in your Customer App.
Are my payment details safe?
We do not store card details on our own servers. Payments are processed through secure payment providers.
Can I manage my service online?
Yes. Customers can manage their service through the Customer App.
What can I do in the Customer App?
You can view your cleaning schedule, check cleaning history, manage payments, change your plan, order extra cleans and contact support.
Can I book extra cleans?
Yes. You can request additional bin cleaning services through the Customer App or by sending us a message.
Can I contact support through the app?
Yes. The Customer App lets you send support requests directly from your account.
Can I see my service history?
Yes. Completed cleans, upcoming cleans and payment history can be checked in your Customer App.
How does the Refer a Neighbour programme work?
Refer Bin Clean Crew to your neighbours. If four referred households purchase and activate a 6 Month Plan or 12 Month Plan, your current plan will be extended for another period completely free.
What conditions apply to referrals?
You must be an active customer. Referred households must be new customers and must activate a qualifying 6 Month Plan or 12 Month Plan. Bin Clean Crew may verify referrals to prevent duplicate or invalid claims.
How can I contact Bin Clean Crew?
The fastest way to reach us is by message. Our team is usually on the road cleaning bins and working with high-pressure equipment, where answering calls is not always possible. Messages allow us to check your details, bookings and requests so we can respond faster and more accurately.
